x Pachysedum 'Ganzhou' is a hybrid rare succulent between the Pachyphytum and a Sedum succulent. The thick and upright leaves with powdery coating look like fingers. Under the stress of sunlight and temperature, the color of the leaves can change from pale pink to dark pink.
How to care for x Pachysedum 'Ganzhou'
Sun/Location: In general, x Pachysedum succulents require bright and transparent light, but intense summer sunlight may burn its leaves. It is recommended to grow 'Ganzhou' outdoors in spring and fall, providing partial shade in summer and afternoon and protection from frost during the colder months.
Soil/Pot: For most indoor succulents, loose and well-drained soil is ideal. The cactus soil mix can allow the excess water to flow out quickly. Adding some medium, such as grit, perlite, and pumice, will be better.
Watering: Since x Pachysedum 'Ganzhou' has thick leaves, it does not like to be watered frequently. The watering can be increased appropriately during the growing season, watering sparingly in summer and winter, and it is best to confirm that the soil is completely dry before watering.
